@callump9228 There should be no profit or dividends. All our tax money should pay for the weapons we need not shareholders. That's if we are serious about building our defenses. I believe the current price of a 155mm shell is more than 10 times the Russian equivalent.

We need to have nationalised arms manufacturers or they will focus on profit rather than effectiveness. Nationalise BAE systems.

@molsy1768 That's my view too. They want to scare us to enable more of our money to be laundered via the MIC. If we are really in danger then nationalise the arms companies. This system appears to work very well in Russia.

@tomhenry897 Apparently it was originally designed in the 1940s by the nationalised Royal Small Arms Factory. It's lasted well at least.
