This much advertised counteroffensive is probably going to be a disaster. The Ukrainians have no air cover, the Russians have air superiority in the likely offensive regions. They also have a massive defence network created over the last 6 months, far greater numbers of up to date tanks and other armour available and 700,000+ fully trained troops. They might take a bit of territory but the losses will be massive. But hey at least Michael and Sky will have a show.

@willwozniak2826 Planes crash, there have been a couple F35s downed with technical faults. The Russian airforce is at more or less full strength and they have many usable airfields. They have taken a cautious approach, waiting untill the Ukrainian air defence has been sufficiently degraded. That point seems to have arrived and they are using more air power now.
