Not really, one minute your prospective tank commander is having a stroll to the shops. Next he's bopped on the head in a van heading for Germany or the UK. Four weeks later he's sat in a Chally soaking up an ATGM in Robotyne.

The problem was the plan was devised in Washington by imbeciles like Nuland and Sullivan. It relied on the Russians running away rather than fighting. The air cover thing doesn't help but it's not the main issue.

@marin427 They all get the same talking points, check the videos. This week it's the supposed breakthrough, which hasn't happened. That the second and third lines are weaker, total lie. The Russians have run out of reserves, also completely untrue. That it's slow but steady progress and nobody thought it would be quick, guess what those are lies as well. They wouldn't admit the offensive had started because it was making no progress, remember "probing operations". Now they won't admit it's a total failure.
