  1.  @ericspace8816  Not really started yet - bit of a push near Kupyansk. They don't really need to as long as the Ukrainians are doing that in the south if this is a war of attrition. The Uke offensive was supposed to be a Blitzkrieg to the Sea of Asov. When that failed in June, instead of lying and saying they were just probing they should have called it off and gone on the defensive. Perhaps reevaluate what equipment and tactics were inadequate, give their troops some real training. They didn't do that and as a result I would say they are FUBAR.

  3.  @crawdadad  It's an extremely cynical plan and apart from the negative diplomatic fallout from everyone understanding it due to the likes of Austin, Romney and Graham stating it out loud, did it work? I would say no it didn't work. Russia is stronger militarily now than it was in Feb 2022. It has a far bigger and battle hardened army, I would say the best in the World right now. There have been economic issues with the sanctions but they have been largely neutralised. Uncoupling from the Western financial system has forced both Russia and China to accelerate BRICS and it's parallel financial system . Diplomatically outside of the USA and vassals Russia and Putin are superstars for standing up to the hegemon. Nobody even likes Biden, but everyone outside of the Globalist system now loves Putin.
