  1. I smell Lockheed sales tactics here, just like the Starfighter scandal. That Air Chief Marshall certainly has an offshore account that just happened to run across a large deposit. And why does Thailand need top end fighters? Why are they maintaining almost 100 already? They have a coup almost every year, but they haven't faced a real external threat since before the invention of powered flight. F-35s to defend against what? Loss of air supremacy to such mighty powers as Myanmar or Kampuchea?
