It would have been nice to hear mention of Hampdens attacking the viaduct of the Dortmund-EMS canal, a raid which imposed enough damage to halt important German interior barge traffic for a month. Also, I would like to know if that single Hampden in Swedish service was an influence on the design of the Saab 18, a very similar looking bomber that first flew in 1942.

  2. Why would anyone think that giving the pilot a single fixed .303 mg would have any effect at all? That was 1915 armament.
