This is exactly how the fight against corruption looks. The EU and UK have a lot to learn.

@bonnie7898 What is the failure of the war in Ukraine? Russia is making daily territorial advances, liberating more and more populated areas, while Ukrainian troops retreat further to the West. The Ukrainian counteroffensive last year was a complete failure. Things are not going so badly for Russia at the front. So this version is untenable. There were probably mistakes, but the generals were arrested not for mistakes, but for criminal offenses. This is how the law enforcement system works in any normal state. Corruption steals from the people, the authorities understand this and are fighting it. And you are trying to present a positive process in the country in a black light. Of course you can't admit that Russia is fighting corruption, and doing it successfully.

@the0ne809 doing purges it's just a propaganda cliche. The BBC will never call a spade the good that is happening in Russia. They need everything to look black to their audience. Smart people understand this.

@Thor.Jorgensen Thatcher was in power for more than 20 years. Merkel has been in power for 18 years.

@DrScopey2 I do know about the oligarchs who stole from the Russian people, but they now mostly live in England. One of them is called Khodorkovsky.

@bonnie7898 Britain is not a democracy because government is not directly elected by citizens. And Britain is not a Constitutional Monarchy because Britain does not have a Constitution.
