I myself am Russian with Ukrainian roots; my ancestors lived in Ukraine for several generations under the Russian Empire. Most people in Ukraine speak Russian as it is their native language. Ukrainian identity was created in the 20th century by Soviet leaders. By the way, 2/3 of its lands within the country are Russian lands, which were donated during the Soviet Union to the fraternal republic as part of a single state. In fairness, Ukraine does not have the right to these lands if it chooses the European course and confrontation with Russia. These lands must be returned to the Russian people.

If everyone woke up after WWII, it was not the United States, which carried out more than 50 invasions of various countries around the world after that. The whole problem is that only Western countries invaded other states, everyone else was not allowed to do this, and Russia violated this ban because it gained power, which the West cannot resist. This is a rebellion against the global hegemony of the United States, and the hegemon will be defeated. The West has only two outcomes for the Ukrainian war. In the best-case scenario, it's a disgrace; in the worst-case scenario, it's a disaster.
