  1. I understand why the Western and Ukrainian public is not interested in the historical context of the conflict. The Western one is not interested in it, because the layman finds it boring and not essential for himself, and the Ukrainian one because the historical context colors the conflict with facts that are not beneficial to them. It is easier for everyone to think in propaganda patterns like "unprovoked aggression", "war of autocracies with democracies", and others. No one is interested anymore that Ukraine has been infringing on the interests of the Russian population in the east for many years, forbade speaking their native language, destroyed the Orthodox Church, and for many years shelled Donetsk and Lugansk. And it all started with the fact that a coup d'etat took place in Kiev under the leadership of Western special services. In this light, Russia's invasion no longer seems unmotivated. Isn't it?
