Unlike new gen stupid Terminator movies, here we see how difficult it is for a human being to fight a machine if it was real, we see how Kyle fails and gets tired , we see how fragile is human life if it gets hit by a metallic arm, Kyle hits the Terminator hard as much as he can but the machines one blow was more than enough to almost kill him, his final selfless move to save Connor was put out brilliantly, if it was today,s stupid Hollywood , Kyle would still survive with some bruises . The death of Kyle has HUGE impact on the series and on Connor, hence Terminator 2 becomes more relevant , unlike new gen stupid Terminator series where they find excuses for a sequel. I am someone from the 80s and I still feel new gen movies lack the rock solid foundation and power that old movies had, the over use of CGI, quality less dramatic situations etc make even science fiction movies easily predictable and less punchy.
