  2. From what I felt The Focus RS has some disadvantages 1. Its ~1600 kg curb, for a car with short wheelbase that weight actually steals a lot of its potency and one can feel that at long corners, of course on track,not onroad. 2. Engine has a weak high end power, the 2.3 EB makes more noise and less power post 5500 rpm, the last 1000 rpm is almost useless in Focus RS, 3. The Focus RS gear shits could have been a lot better, the ratios are long and the shift speed to is noway near as compared to Type R, Leon Cupra 280,even Golf 7R manual shifts faster Apart from these the car is a gem

  6. xxBlackpspxx Just understand that whatever U heard is bull shit I ve an RS in the neighborhood and did some lap times with it, sure there is RDU over heating issue if one is charging it too much and there is absolutely NO differential breaking or such things This car is awesome, way way way way way better than shitty Golf R,

  9. Sad part is no RS from Ford, Ford is heavily downsliding globally they have been overtaken by Hyundai in brand power, value, revenue , product range, warranty, and almost on every count

  10.  @madmike9316  Well I wont go so far and say Ford is inferior to VW now in dynamics, I ve driven MK 7.5 Golf GTi and the new Focus ST also, I would any day pick a FoST over Golf GTi, The Golf has better interior, better manual gearbox and an engine that revs harder and faster than Fords 2.3 EB but still the Ford felt like it had the edge over the Golf, I will agree that the Type R and even Leon Cupra are superior to new FoST, but a 3rd spot, Ford is definitely there and I assure you this, take the FoST3 with Cup2s on track and I am sure U ll be amazed how fast it will lap around track and I was surprised to see the new FoST3 run similar lap times to BMW M140i
