See the Fiesta is super flop across the globe except in Britain,
I mean Fords generally has the worst interiors, worst boots, worst back seats and interior SPACE in business, how do U guys forget all this and buy this,
I personally think Skoda Fabia is worlds best hatch back, not because its VW grup car, because its logical, good to drive, has loads of space, loads of gadgets, built tuff, safe,smart , I mean its a no brainer

U Brits that complained a whole lot on the India made Ecosport should realize that the Ecosport is far far far more practical than this piece of crap
Built cheap, pathetic interiors, PATHETIC SPACE INSIDE,priced higher than rivals,pathetic cabin insulation, never gets advertised mpg, pathetic boot and YET U fools detested the Ecosport which does better in all the things that matters like SPACE,FEATURES,BOOT,even ride is softer,
Says a lot about Brits, buying the worst car for over 4 decades
Now do a review of Ford KA+ too,
OOh...spoiler, its made in INDIA too, but has more SPACE,more comfier ride, I say thats what makes a car, who wants a car that can accommodate just 2 and punish 2 on back, Only Brits

Its not at all Fords fault, its the stupid president Trumps fault, raging trade wars among nations and do understand that Ford is not at all pure American , its a global brand, the Fiesta,Focus,Fusion or Mondeo are all Euro designs and R&D in Europe and built part by part in different parts of the worlds and assembled in a lot of countries including US
Now VW/Hyundai dosent have better built quality always, I ve had issues with these brands as well, so just dont blindly generalize this

Well that was the MK III Focus, the most unsuccessful Focus in Fords Focus history, its achievements include just the worlds best selling car title in 2013 and the AWD in RS, rest everywhere it was junk, I too agree, but test drove the new one last week and I ve got to say, I am impressed, I too would pick it over a Golf, specially the ST Line, great value for money and rides and handles like a hot hatch and yet comfortable, also new Focus seems to have sorted the elephant in room with MK III Focus, SPACE , the rear seats specially felt as spacious or better than MK VII.5 Golf

I know this is Europe,and the difference in quality between Focus built in USA and Europe is only in base variants and engines used, rest all is same, in fact USA has a better SYNC 3 system than the ugly SYNC 2 in Europe
Focus in Europe or USA is heavily flawed, European Ford engineers suck when it comes to packaging space inside cars
The Fiesta,Focus,new Mondeo are clear examples, all 3 have some of the least legroom and head room in class, boot space too sucks big time for Fiesta and Focus despite both being longer and wheelbase too being longer than something like Golf/Astra
Then comes fit finish, even in European Focus there are lots of grey shiny plastics used, and fit and finish is terrible compared to even Renaults, at least they could be using dark grey plastic like in Renaults dont bother whether its hard or not
handling too is not upto mark nowadays in Focus compared to Mazdas
Also I ve found most new Fords are over weights, new Mondeo Titanium Sport weighs a whopping 1790 kg, the new Passat which is far far far better in interior quality,fit finish, refinement,space,and can easily match Mondeos driving quality is just 1700 kg on highline trim,I dont know how cheap plastics weigh so much in Fords
same is the case of new Golf/Octavia vs Focus, Focus 2.0 TDCi Sport weighs a whopping 1546 kg as opposed to 1511 kg of DSG MK 7 Golf Highline,I cant understand this as well
So I think Ford is far far behind the competition, SPACE is LUXURY, Ford still dosent understand this, they make cars that are large outside but small inside

I ve and I drive a Ford KA+,way way way better car than this stupid Fiesta, the fun part is even Ford dealers said,"its made in India so its not as good as Fiesta" but reality is Indian made car felt so much better than this crappy British built junk, sure i miss a little bit of drama in the form of driving thrills but i e got more space,comfort,quiet cabin,a simple old school reliable 1.2l engine, better boot,almost all features 1 would want, and its economical and decent fun to drive as well
See Fords made in Europe are foolish because they care more about front driver and passenger and completely ignore back seats, interior quality etc, eg: a new Ford Mondeos back seat is just as big as a VW Jettas and pity its smaller than a Skoda Octavias, foolish designs, and yet Mondeo is as large as a Passat outside,
Same goes to Focus which has 1 of worst back seats in business, pathetic engineering by British engineers, I mean even a new Skoda Fabia has more leg room, knee room and overall cabin space than a Ford Focus, and even quality wise a Fabia felt better than a Focus
But the Fords built outside like the Euro hated Ecosport, KA+ etc seems like far better choices as they nail the BASICS of motoring, like SPACE,comfort features,etc..
There is a saying SPACE IS LUXURY...British fools must learn that

When the whole gear console shakes like its just a piece of trash box on top of which a hear lever is placed and this dosent happen in Polo,Fabia,Seats etc U realize Ford is cheating U
When U realize that VWs 1.0 Tsi engine actually gives better real world mileage than Fords 1.0 ecoboost and with less HP is faster than Fords 1.0 turbo, U realize that U r being fooled.
The only thing Fiesta is good at is, driving ie it handles beautifully for such a small car, rest all it sucks big time. Do note that I am a Ford owner so yeah, its not like I am assuming these, after a long stint of Ford use, I am shifting to VW just because of reliability issues with Fiesta,rattles, pathetic boot space, why should I compromise when I am paying equal amounts for both Ford and Skoda/VW

The current Focus was deigned and engineered in Britain, its no way a global car, its a European car thats made global not the other way round
The only thing American in the current Focus is the SYNC II MyFordtouch, every other component is designed and engineered in GB and some in Germany
U must understand that Ford EUrope has 1 big issue, ie packaging
All European Ford cars have large exterior dimensions but too small interior dimensions,
its a common trait for Euro Fords, eg Fiesta(smallest green house),Focus and its derivatives like Kuga,C Max etc
Ford Europe needs to understand 1 thing , SPACE is LUXURY
2nd thing is packaging, Ford Europe took too much tiime to bring a 1.5 100+ bhp TDCI to Europe, pity on Ford Europe, the Kuga 1.5 TDCi would have made much bigger numbers but Ford Europe is a bunch of fools
I am happy to see the new MK IV Focus spy shots because its getting wider and longer which is a MUST, and ur argument that global car is bull shit,

The Focus was introduced in US in 2011,
Yes the Focus has the world in mind while it was developed and thats a very good thing cuz not every1 is akin to the stiff setup of MK II Focus.
This lead to Focus MK III being worlds best selling car by 2014 May,
Then came the Golf which destroyed the Focus because Germany is still way way superitr to Britain,USA etc
Focus cudnt do anything to Golf because Golf is lighter than Ford and yet more powerful and spacious and comfy and quality rich and refined, this instamtly killed the Focus,
I still say this, Fieats,Focus,Kuga,C Max,SMax,Galaxy,Mondeo,Transit
All these are British engineered,and shows how foolish Britain is,

See I am from Taiwan, my job is DCP so I ve got to travel to lot of places and wherever I go I can find MK III Focus while the MK II was strictly European which means less appeal to other markets
U must understand that Focus MK II had big issues with refinement and comfort,maybe after being in Europe for long U r accustomed to it, but reality is far away, the MK II was terribly stiff for crappy roads, specially at low speeds, so if people need to take it it needs a comfy ride which the MK III has , the MK II had crappy plastics inside, the MK II has better, the MK III Focus is better in lot of aspects inside out except for cabin space
The reason Y Focus is fading in sales is not because MK III is bad, but because the competition has grown leaps and bounds over the Focus
Just look at the new MK 7 Golf, its got uber quality interior yet its lighter than the Ford on average by 60-90 kgs
The Golf is safer,its smarter, its more spacious,more refined as well
new Astra too is the same case, new Mazda 3 is same as Focus but has better interior design,functionality and better front end because its lighter and we all know Fords FWD cars had a lot in common with Mazdas
See the Focus being global is actually very good, Thailand,Taiwan,China,Australia,South Africa,New Zealand,USA,South AMerica... all these places the MK II was damn failure but MK III was a success,
U cannot hold on to handling and make a car better. 1 must move with time as the Focus MK III did, but now what Ford needs badly is a new chassis and design and interior and luckily a new 1 is coming by 2018, till then the current model will slowly fade
I am 10000000000% sure if Ford had sold the MK II Focus in USA, it would have failed so damn hard that the loss it would have made would have been terrible

See just check a lot of emerging families, like 40 yr old with kids in teens, the teens nowadays are TALL, and Fiestas back seats were terrible in terms of under thigh support, under feet space, pure legroom as well
What Ford did with new KA+ is take old MK V Fiesta platform put slimmer seats, raised them so that there is more foot space and more knee room,
Now why all this, because even a small family should be able to drive a Ford at 10k, if there is an original KA like car from Ford it will cater only a minority of population who look for fun drives, the KA+ on the other hand is partly FUN as its based on MK V Fiesta , practical, economical, cheap ro maintain and BUY
The new Fiesta is the new expression of Ford, its for some 1 who wants a FORD car, the KA+ is for some 1 who want a basic transportation, there is more +ve logic here than making a tiny car for all masses,
By 2018 Focus too will go big and with more space and premium features and gadgets etc, this phenomenon will trickle to all classes
The new Nissan Micra is an example, its going to be priced around 13k pounds, which used to be in the sub 10k range,
The new upcoming VW Polo too is moving up market, see there is a saying "when U go to the land where people eat snakes, dont hesitate eat the best snakes" in short survival should be primary

I will tell you why space is luxury, JUST LOOK AT THE COMPETITION, Polo, new Suzuki SWift, Honda Jazz, new Seat Ibiza, almost all have more space than Fiesta , Clio , 208 , Polo is worlds best selling small car for a reason, when U can get a car under 20,000 Pounds that has space inside as much as an MK III Ford Focus, why buy that rather than buy an under equipped Focus?? Also MAN always loves to stretch out and be non claustrophobic, inside most Fords and Renaults man the most important thing gets least attention, specially in the back seats, almost like punishing them, thats stupid specially since it has 4 dooes, if a car has 4 doors, let there be enough room inside those doors

@davidosrc4886 Well, Kuga is European , not American, the Ford Endeavor/Everest is almost Engineered by Ford Australia not USA , and Ford Europe is a pile of foolish shit, with the money they spent on Vignale they could have launched a full hybrid/electric RWD machine or so, theses Vignales So called Ford luxury brands is not even as luxurious as a regular VW , and dont even talk about the Boat Mondeo, it was engineered in Europe, only exterior styling came from US, and yet it is easily one of worst sedans
