@bootburner4544 I can't believe how badly you've misinterpreted what they said. No QUANTIFIEDs are available, meaning there's no vial containing EXACTLY X μl's of the virus.

@lovetash7552 If you want to go with outdated information despite updates being widely available, that's fine, but at least respect authorities that are more knowledgeable than you. Besides, where do you get the idea that this new information is somehow less reliable with the whole world's eyes turned to them?

@bootburner4544 I personally received nasopharyngeal swab samples from previously confirmed SARS-CoV-2-positive individuals. I then purified the samples using the magnapuresystem, eluting in 50 ul buffer. Then I used a metagenomics kit to synthesise cDNA from all RNA in the elution. After performing NGS I mapped reads to SARS-CoV-2 reference genome and always got at least 75% coverage.
