I am happy to say we have some pizza maker here in my local unimportant Dutch city, who is from Napoli and makes pizza exactly like these, and also gives little workshops for people to make their own. Nobody usually believes that they are really cooked only for like 90 seconds, until they do it themselves. Everything is important, from the wood used, to the shape of the oven, and the way you prepare the dough. I go there a few times a year to eat proper pizza, but I also still eat ordinary domino's pizza if I have to.

It is just that you need a bit of socialism to keep the bad parts of capitalism in check and you need a bit of capitalism to get rid of the less desirable parts of socialism.

  12. Here in the Netherlands kids can still do that, even in large cities like Amsterdam... It's parenting that makes the difference, limit digital time, and give plenty of opportunity to go outdoors. My nieces and nephews play outside every day. and they can only be 1-2 hours on a tablet or laptop each day

  17. every 1st world nation is obviously a paradise compared to 3rd world countries (aka developing countries) but there are many countries ahead of the USA in development. The USA is great for the rich, not so good for the middle and lower class. If you have millions, you can buy an amazing life in the states, buy yourself out of the shit. If you don't, your environment looks pretty shabby. Note, I am talking about human made environment, public works etc. You can of course be poor and live in an amazing beautiful natural area.

He is the best ambassador for the USa I know at the moment (I am not an American myself, and quite critical of the country)

I can do Shintoism next time. Look I don't mind somebody being religious, like Titus. He is a fine young man. I also don't mind if parts of a video about Titus are about religion, because that is part of his life. I even find it interesting to learn about such a person otherwise I wouldn't watch it. But I do mind random people turning every video in an unwanted church service.

What I don't like about the USA is their blind eye for social injustice. oh we named this bar Bucky's because he worked here for 61 years ! how amazing! yes, it's nice you honor him but all I read into that is that this man had to work into his late seventies, just to survive. let's say he started at 16, + 61 years, that's 77 years old! Give that man a good pension at 65! and if he works there for 50 years that is still amazing and you can give him a gold watch and a statue..... I went to California and had 80 year old parking attendants.. I asked, why are you working every day at your age? they had to , it was that or starve...... (or not able to pay their medical bill) lot of rot in that country under the pretty paint...... Michelle and Bruce have good taste and created a beautiful house, astonishing. I like every part of it that was shown in the video.

  31. Of course the US is a good country if you compare it to places like china or russia.... or arabia... or any country that has wars or a dictatorship government. That's not hard, 100 countries are better than those.. but when people criticize the US it's because they look at other 1st world countries that have some things better than the US (not all things, some things) The US of A should try to keep it's strength and copy some of the strengths of those other countries that are better in some regards. also average salary in italy is 2867.904 USD/Month, so a good salary is not 2 grand. A good salary would be 4000 , but Peter talked to some random hustlers in rome that think 2000 is good.

" Does it not have legitimacy?" in the case of religion, it causes problems, because religion oppresses people, they project spiritual ideas of individuals, that started innocent as this walk in nature or having a vision as Big Truths that all have to follow. (usually with elderly men at the top and women and children at the bottom) And often it leads to outright evil, see Taliban or Ayatollah's or closer to home evangelicals who sold their 'souls' to Trumpism and who I now consider among the nastiest people in America.

  37. @anthonysimmons3281 funny, I would turn that 180 degrees around. the USA isn't bad, (and a great place to spend a holiday) but it sucks to live in compared to western europe.) I wouldn't move there if they tripled my salary.... Most of the positive points Peter showcased here, we have too, or even better. And the few that we don't have don;t weight up against the massive disadvantages of the USA.

I guess I am just a bit tired of these kinds of posts in general, for me it's only fantasy and wishful thinking, and the reason it triggers me is that it damaged quite a few people in my family. So I have hard time to see it as something innocent. Although I genuinely do hope it can be a force of good for some people, like Titus.

They look like a modern family with traditional costume for the women (note how it's always the women that have to wear traditional, while the men just wear jeans and an adidas polo..... same in Iran) That's what I have against these cultures, they have always this patriarchal smell attached to it with a hint of misogynism. but I certainly respect their pacifism and many of their values. I love how the little boy (5 or 6 years old at most) found a solution for the ball in the water. He just ran back to the house and put his boots on. Their childhood is amazing , I am sure.

America has always been a dumpster , wild west, free for all country but because of it;s immense wealth in natural resources, a minority of civilization could develop the country into the wealthiest and most powerful nation on earth. But it's civilization was a always a thin layer of gold leaf and never rock solid. Fortunately there are always diamonds in the rough, like this Rock guy and his organization. The chance that something bad happens is not 0, but it is extremely low, so everybody just live their lives. it's like the chance that you can be hit by lightning in a thunderstorm. and when you don;t need to buy a car for your wife or any other equipment because she stays at home 24/7 and can't have her own life, of course you have money leftover to spend on gold bracelets. which is a stupid thing to buy anyway, completely useless. I'd rather have a sailboat or scuba diving gear or something else that is fun to use. buying expensive clothes and jewelry just to show off is a sign of insecurity and lack of purpose. People in the past had use for it, an easy method to store wealth, that you can take with you in case of wars or other calamities, but that is not needed anymore. (btw I know that woman can drive a car since a few years)
