  2. "Computers are an educational device". Actually yes they were. In 1979. And 1985 and 1990 and.... It was not until the brainless masses decided they needed a PC too that it became entertainment first. Somewhat around in the nineties this happened. Before that it was mostly 'smart' people who had computers as a hobby.. They might be nerds, but they made cool things. Same goes for the internet. It was a gathering of brainiacs in the eighties and nineties.
