@simdoughnut659 I grew up in an old house with a huge garden and 25 fruit trees, all old fashioned tall ones. We did harvest part of the fruit on tall ladders with fruit pickers and the rest was left hanging for the birds. Also some just fell down and could still be used for processing or were given to horses . And at the very end of the season my dad and me would get an air rifle and we would try to shoot down the last apples and pears for fun.

@dagaber0027 with whatever grows naturally in their country. All these preferences are really just what was historically available to your people. Rice in Asia, Mais in the Americas, wheat in Europe (plus potatoes once they were discovered in America) Yams and Couscous in Africa etc...

@sparklemotion8377 people all over the world do science, most modern science is invented by Europeans because they happened to be the dominant continent in the 17th-19th centuries, when most modern scientific discoveries were made. Obviously in this globalisation world of today people from all continents contribute to the growth of the scientific legacy of humankind
