  5. That's very inconvenient, can't do. England is the wrong side of the island, it would mean we have the euro in Calais, then the pound in Dover and then the Euro again in Wales and Scotland.

  7.  @woodlandbiker  you can know, because obviously many polls and researchers after the election have asked those non voters what they would have voted if they weren't too lazy to vote and about 70% said they would have voted remain

  8. the best he can do is to be sure he and his generation will NEVER EVER vote anything Tory in their lifetime, and spread the word activity to all their older relatives. Only when I see the support for the tory traitors drop below 20% nationwide I will believe the UK wants to change. (NB this doesn't mean Labour should get 80%, let other smaller parties rise up too)

  9.  @dorsetbigcats6292  that depends on their political ideas. I think there is a place for conservative political ideas in several areas, I just dislike most of the current ones that are just based on upper class greed

  11.  @dorsetbigcats6292  how do you define socialist? I usually vote for green/center parties, but not necessary parties that have the word socialist in their name. NB, I live in a country with a proper democracy, as in we have more than 10 different relevant parties to choose from, basically any political flavor is on the menu and the government is always a coalition of several parties which makes them work together and make compromises

  12.  @dorsetbigcats6292  yeah all systems have pros and cons, but I am quite certain a coalition system is better than a de facto winner takes all 2 party system, just looking at the world... the worst countries are one party dictatorships, like Russia or China, next, but still pretty bad are two party countries like USA or UK and the best countries are multi party democracies (Scandinavia, Netherlands, Germany etc) note: i don;t think the UK is a Wasteland, I just went there for my summer holidays and I like the country, but would not be happy to live there)
