  1. the USA has a lot of AMAZING natural features, in almost any climate zone you can think of. It's definitely worth a few trips. But I don't want to live there permanently.

  2. Dutch here. I do a lot of smalltalk here in Europe, with complete strangers. And most of them like it, (or at least act like they like it, and if they dislike it, they are pretty good at hiding it) I often travel alone, so I made this a habit, to meet people on my travels. Maybe it's because I somehow learned to pick the right people , but I have good experiences with it.

  3. yeah lol... only a 5 hour drive..... (and I think that's not even Florence, but rather lake Como or so) For me, a 2 hour drive is an ordeal......
