I have a Philips, it's kinda hard to clean. So I picked up a 2nd one from a thrift store that looked almost new, as if it was only used maybe once. Let's see if this one is better, although I forgot which brand it is.

@Enderlance why? They are very common in smaller gardens where a petrol engine mower is overkill. It's annoying to mow with a cable, but with a bit of practice you can work out a system where it doesn't obstruct you. (I had to do a lot of mowing as a child)

@ThePaperKhan when your garden isn't large enough to warrant the purchase and upkeep of a petrol mower? they are perfect for small patches of grass.

@rusky2655 we would just boil water and pour it by hand. no electricity needed and better coffee

@Seal0626 nothing, except it's very impractical in large gardens, you want an petrol engine mower for those. So if usa viewers all live in suburbs with large gardens, maybe they find an electric mower weird. But they are very common in small european gardens. plus we have 230v, not 110, so maybe that helps making them more powerful?

@karl810 usa suburbia consider all your gardens small or medium size, they just have more space in general compared to us europeans.

My school has one in the main hall. With 3 meter tall flipboards 😀 (it's a big school)

Sometimes I am glad I live in a country neighbouring Germany, we don't have to ponder about these kind of things, we just use whatever they use and are guaranteed it passes all tests and lasts 3 generations

I don't understand why you need so many? Do you have a huge mansion? My led bulbs of any kind last 10 years and counting, I almost never had to replace any of them ever so far..... Ok I bought a few newer ones when the technology improved, but I expect those to last that long as well and the old ones are still being used, just got demoted to lesser areas like a garden shed. Where they might do their job for decades to come.

new to the market? I know the old US ofAa isn't exactly at the frontlines anymore techwise (except maybe in a few silicon valley things) but this still amazes me. I think we bought our first one in 2012, and they were available a few years earlier
