Australiastan is collapsing. The ATO are now doing "Lifestyle Data Matching" - looking more into what you have because the govt is getting desperate for more tax money. The biggest problem is Australiastan is so high tax and banks have paid basically no interest on savings that most people can't afford to leave, especially as they have to basically go several years without income in order to break free of Australian Tax Residency after they've moved their "centre of life" abroad entirely. Lastly, until you leave the Australian Tax System LEGALLY, you have to report ALL bank accounts and investments you have globally - the ATO use data sharing and matching to find out. This means that you'll still be getting hit with the same CGT, etc. on your investments and the Australian Govt can still seize your assets if they want to.

@rodiculous9464 That's because he didn't have a majority in both houses of govt. This time (if he won) he would have that majority and that's why the left are so desperate to not let him win.

@rodiculous9464 And at the same time those countries are too stupid to welcome skilled professionals who aren't rich but could create jobs (they could offer visas conditional to following through on creating jobs but they NEVER do). CBI countries want the quick financial injection, they don't really care long term, nor do they care about creating jobs for their citizens.
