  1. Just because he mentions certain places doesn't mean you have to go there and it doesn't mean you have to agree with his opinions on the people and the weather. That said I can absolutely confirm that Australia and New Zealand are bad for those that this channel is aimed at. Stupidly high taxes (over 50% once you add all the MediCare, private health insurance MediCare levy, fire services and parks and waterways levies, etc.). Ridiculous amounts of bureaucracy (red tape) when it comes to business - a small business will blow close to 2/3's of its finances just on compliance, annual training (mandatory refresher courses) and licences. Not to mention one of the highest minimum wages in the world which is making inflation worse (the recent increase to $25/hr). Also after the last two years, expect both Australia and New Zealand to add heaps of new taxes to recover the lost/wasted money and to try to recover the stupid amounts being wasted such as $9 billion on a govt funded 4yr/old kinder replacement (a pre-prep year), $25 million for a flag pole on the Sydney Harbour Bridge, several billion going over budget on both the West Gate Tunnel and the level crossing removals, the $200 billion to rebuild the NBN by 2026 and the new EV incentive schemes in both Australia and New Zealand that are estimated to be costing tax payers close to $500 billion by 2028, just to name a few.
