Unless its something that is legally forcing you to stay (i.e. licence audit, tax audit, jury duty, etc.), quit making excuses and get out. There's affordable options (usually residence permits). If you own a house, consider selling it to fund getting out. Stop making excuses and get out - if you keep making excuses, you never will. Sure it might feel scary but why stay and lose everything!

@nomadcapitalist Many people can't due to it constantly being held in a country that bans people on grounds of 'nationality' (many people who are descendant from those persecuted by Nazis and Soviets who live in the 'west' are banned due to a citizenship that was forced upon them by a country they've never lived in) AND 'work/employment' (i.e. defence industry, law enforcement, etc.). Please consider hosting the event in a more open country so people can attend.

@allanfrd The issue is in the future, if you renounce that original citizenship, then you're basically stateless as due to the fact that a Uruguayan passport lists your nationality as your previous one (i.e. you're not getting a new citizenship, only a travel document and Residency), once renounced, then that passport is suddenly invalid because you're no longer that nationality. If the Uruguayan passport said you were Uruguayan then it wouldn't be an issue. The best solution is to get a citizenship that says you're their national once they grant citizenship, as being Uruguayan means nothing unless you're ethnically from there (i.e. the passport says Uruguayan).

Heard of AML/KYC? You can't buy things without doing it. The AML/KYC paperwork all goes to the govt so they can know everything. That's why 'regulated' exchanges that require AML/KYC are BAD!

There's zero legitimate need to be in a shop-front, unless you're a takeaway joint. You can 100% do your business online - heard of sending and receiving packages?

Over a million because many countries want to see $100k+ minimum annual income (that will continue once living there) before they'll grant residence permits. Remember, most residence permits require you to buy an apartment or a house.

@RRaymer You're need to go see what Polish wages actually are. They're higher than most of Europe, assuming you are a highly qualified professional and not some basic low-skilled worker. The other thing to look at is the buying power. What 10 Zl will buy in Poland is a lot more than what 10 quid will buy in the UK. The more buying power, the better.

@user-ht9fr6eh9u Why would even a British Citizen stay? The outcome for a resident, a citizen and a tourist are the same. No matter what you do, you are in the 1% who want change. Thus its 100% impossible until such a time as the 99% want change. Why stay and lose everything when you can go to where you're treated best? You speak like a child you thinks you can change the world - you're an insignificant little twig that can't change a country for the better.

You're only going to lose everything. You can't fix what the 99% want to keep as is. Only when the 99% want change, can anything be improved. Stay and lose everything, leave and survive.

Ireland and that's it due to the CTA. The only way to legally work in other countries is to get the required work visas. That's what happens when you're not part of the EU or Schengen.
