  1. Its only private jets that harm the environment. The normal commercial flights that you and I can take are carbon negative due to the number of passengers, the fact they also transport cargo and mail, and the fact that we all pay 'CO2 offset' taxes as part of the ticket price. Private jets make 200k more flights per year collectively than commercial flights. Oh, now in the EU train travel is being demonized as 'bad due to heavy electricity use' and thus it now unacceptably pollutes. That's on top of tickets now costing more since internal flights were banned and due to the levy that covers the welfare for those who lost their jobs when internal flights got banned. Also, even having a small 40ft sailing boat is being effectively outlawed due to bureaucracy that cares more about nationality and hoop jumping than it does actual skill. If you can't get an ICC due to your nationality (even if you passed the exam), and you can't get a marine licence from an EU country (requires residence in the EU), then you can't sail as you can't sufficiently 'prove experience'. No other govt issued licences are accepted so if you live in AU, NZ, CAN, etc. your marine licences mean nothing. Now the ICC is being replaced with a new EU-wide Licence which the UN has also said will apply globally. ALL travel and transport is being intentionally banned as they don't want you escaping their tyrannical dystopias to the few free places that will remain (the tax havens).

  2. @leecromer3289 They're just lying to themselves and everyone else - its basically buyers remorse as they refuse to accept they f***ed up and wasted money. Its basically 'sunk cost fallacy' at play. The moron neighbours across the street from me got an EV - they used it a few times and now it spends most of its time either parked in the street or parked in their driveway on charge. They recently bought a Landrover SUV (diesel) which they now use 99% of the time. Tells me everything about how crap EV's are.

  3. Look at who really owns them (not the main 'owner' but the 'investment bank'/holding company) - then you'll realize that they make money regardless of whether or not cars are banned. You'll also realize that they'll make more money enforcing a govt scrapping law when all cars are banned. Hint: B******ck & V*****rd are the two...
