@djtaylorutube You can't consider being able to charge at work - no company is going to permit their staff to use a heap of power charging their EV's unless there's meters on the chargers and the staff are charged for the power - also because that usually means the workplace would have to install dedicated infrastructure for charging which means even more cost to the staff to cover the infrastructure.

Simple - it wouldn't work as all would need to be charged at the same time and rather quickly to ensure they're fully charged when needed. The power infrastructure doesn't exist, nor is the per property supply permitted large enough. For example - in Australia standard (single phase power) is limited to 63A per house since 2010 (prior to that its 80A), residential three phase is 96A total; only industrial three phase permits more than 96A and that's only in dedicated industrial areas. Given that to charge in a short amount of time requires three phase supply at 80A, its not possible, even for one. I've overheard the neighbours across the street complaining about how their Tesla doesn't fully charge overnight (its on a house charger). The reason is because the house is limited to 63A and they use power for everything so the charger doesn't get to use every amp available. The biggest issue you're missing is who has the half a million to buy that many "reliable" EV's? I don't know a single person who's spent more than $52,000 on a vehicle ever!
