@dchubworldsharenetwork Depends on the country. In Australia, only some features can be temporarily turned off - you have to do it every time you start the car. The problem is that even if you do that, if the car thinks it should use the feature it turns it back on immediately. Permanently disabling the features would require a custom set of computers to replace the existing ones. Good luck with that as such a solution doesn't exist and would be illegal to install (20yrs jail for removing 'safety features'). This is why I love my 11yr old car that doesn't have this modern BS in it, and why I 100% refuse to drive anything made after 2014.

The big problem is that you can't turn them off permanently. I'm sick to death of the BS of having to turn all the crap off every time you start the car, not to mention that 90% of them turn back on the moment he car decides its needed, even if you've turned it off. Honestly, I'm glad I still have my 11yr old car that doesn't have any of this modern crap on it. If the 'features' can't be permanently disabled then they're not worth having. I drive the car, I'm NOT there to be be driven by a fu**ing machine.
