No matter what happens, what Helium has shown us is that there are technologies that can be used (with further development) to make crypto independent providing a method of moving enough data becomes possible. Crypto will never be decentralised or truly free as long as it remains trapped on the internet (i.e. internet dependent). This is where I believe the value of Helium comes from - the research and development ideas that the concept generates.
