  1. We weren't taught to apologize for anything. We were taught to use critical thinking and look at history in a context. America has done both great and terrible things. These people are operating from a bogus premise, and don't sound very bright or educated. How can we make a better nation if we claim exceptionalism and ignore our mistakes? This makes no sense.
