  2. Be honest, news and sports announcers are paid to look a certain way. IT IS SHOW BIZ. If her bosses think they will lose ratings if her hair is gray or she gains weight, then she should re-read her contract. Or even better, go out and be a real journalist where physical appearance is less relevant. These TV personalities know the deal but now they want to appeal to public outrage when they took the money FOR YEARS while operating in contract compliance.

  3. If ratings go down as a result of her hair being gray, then she gets fired. If ratings go up as a result of her hair being gray she stays employed. IT IS SHOW BIZ. Ratings rule the day, not outrage over societal double standards.
