  2. Actually their Bolt and crossover models are very popular and reliable. The problem is the MARGIN per unit is small compared to trucks and SUV's. Same reason that Ford ended the Taurus line - a car with excellent service and loyal buyers. This is corporate greed that serves shareholders - NOT capitalism that by definition REINVESTS capital.

  8. German cars are overpriced money pits. Always buy USED TOYOTAS or HONDAS for maximum financial return and reliability minimum maintenance cost. The numbers don't lie - only people lie. Like VW lied about their emission tests.

  9. I only buy and drive toyotas (tundra, camrys) but the Taurus was considered very reliable for years by Consumer Reports and the Chevy Volt and Bolt were both improving in reviews and consumer satisfactions. The last American car I owned was a 1954 Chevy 2DR.  @ZeroMass
