  6. Cathy Newman's problem was that she was employing the "hard talk" interview style, in which you rapidly deploy allegations and criticism, looking for a 'gotcha' moment. This can only be done without attachment, but she was attempting to defend positions and trying to think on the fly. If you watch these programs, you can see that the host really doesn't have any malice, but is merely trying to unnerve the subject for sport.

  10. With each new meltdown, I kept thinking "she learn her lesson this time". I've come to realize that her audience must think such emotional outbursts are positive. Like Cenk's unhinged rants about how "RIGHT WINGERS" love to murder blacks, imprison the poor, rape women, beat guys, etc., etc., etc.
