@Rick_Cleland They're not. It's that finding out the politician/media personality lied to you is less impactful than the anger you project against the target when they lie to you. The anger you you experience when they tell you "Donald Trump stole nuclear secrets" is greater and more memorable than the emotion you have when you find out 6 months later they were lying to you.

JustMemes He's only speaking out now because it has fallen out of favor with the electorate. He supported an idea that he knew was terrible when it was getting the party votes. If "A Pony for Every American" got Democrats elected, he would start wearing a cowboy hat.

The former is the determining factor, but both can be true. But this is the problem with agenda based news reporting. They want you to vote a certain way, and if a particular truth works against that, it is omitted.

@williammatthews5422 The irony is that he talks about the bad optics of the slogan and the damage of ignoring the rise in crime, but he never acknowledges the former caused the latter.

@SI-qp7cm Cenk has not acknowledged the policies he supported caused the massive spike in crime that Democrats are insisting doesn't exist. He has changed his position in order to claim "I told you so". 'Defund' is loosing the party votes; if it wasn't, he would still be supporting it. And if you disagree then YOU JUST WANT PEOPLE TO DIE!!
