Furthermore, bail does not generate income, the government doesn't keep the money, it is refunded to the person who put it up. The rest of your comment is too incoherent to even deem wrong.

  2. Bail should be based solely on flight risk. Nobody who prevents a danger to society should be released awaiting trial.

  3. @jesusofbullets  The bail bondsman gets the money back when the person is remanded to custody. That's the whole point. That's what a bounty hunter does. The government only keeps the money if the person is never captured. If you are going to lecture someone, at least know what you are talking about.
