Criminal justice reform was long overdo, but the quality of our political leaders and their pandering has led to a vast over-correction. It's hard to know what the general public sentiment is these days, but my sense it that the pendulum is beginning to swing back the over way. This is because of people like you, detailing the most egregious examples. Thanks for the work you do.

@cagneybillingsley2165 Condemning people to prison for 20 years for possessing user amounts of narcotics has destroyed countless lives and cost taxpayers dearly, while creating black markets that enrich violent individuals who have no regard for the wellbeing of society.

@mattdaraitis4253 I'm not talking about canabis. I specifically said narcotics. There are currently tens of thousands of people incarcerated for possession of user amonts of NARCOTICS. This is a complete waste of taxpayer dollars and, more importantly, human life.

Cannibalism is a sexual preference, we should add some blood splatter to the pride flag.

@kimmiewise1044 Firstly, the overdose number for 2021 is 107k, up over even the record highs of 2020. Secondly, Your analogy is worthless. Speeders are a threat to others, drug users only themselves. If someone is facing prison for crimes committed in order to sustain their drug habit, then diverting them into treatment makes sense given tax payers are footing the bill either way. Criminal justice reform has destroyed any incentive for people to get clean and needs to be rolled back. Otherwise, people should be free to take whatever drugs they want. I'm not going to pay to keep them in prison because they can't keep from killing themselves. Keeping drugs illegal enriches cartels and violent criminals who work in the black market and creates crime with inflated narcotics prices. Finally, many overdose deaths are due to fentynal and substances laced with fentynal. Most opiate addicts prefer heroin ot pharmaceutical opioids and use fentynal only because its cheap. Legalized narcotics would be less expensive and safer because they wouldn't be adulterated.

@robkrieg8301 Irregularities are merely the tool that the Innocence Project uses to free the incarcerated. They are not interested in "fair trials", but rather increasing crime until the larger society acts to eliminate poverty through wealth redistribution.
