  1. Extending a presumption of good faith to these people is causing me a great deal of mental stress. The reality is that they all know he did it. They just feel, for one reason or another, that he should be forgiven. They will make any argument that serves the cause of releasing him, no matter how preposterous. In the process, the reinforce the notion that truth is meaningless. Honestly, if he accepted responsibility and could demonstrate any evidence of being reformed, I would support his parole. Instead, he's walking free as a innocent victim of the 'racist criminal justice system'. I wonder how he will choose to alleviate his rage...

  2. @@vp8881 First off, my complaint about mental stress is evidence that I AM extending good faith to the people arguing Syed's innocence. Secondly, posing a question to answer it with your own speculation is the worst kind of straw man. Be embarrassed. "These people" includes anyone stupid enough to ignore the overwhelming evidence against the murder, regardless of their race, creed, religion and sexual identity. Honestly, I have even more disdain for white Christians deluding themselves with this crap. They're merely virtue signaling to alleviate racial guilt, whereas it's possible young, non-white Muslims actually believe the system is stacked against them, after being brainwashed by the non-stop deluge of mainstream media propaganda.
