Fact is that being gay is something that is accepted widely in Europe. And the straight majority you are talking about accepts the gay minority. There is only the homophobic minority that can either educate it self or move away. The question is where.

Have you seen how religious nut jobs are confronted with the fact that one of their kids turned gay or bi-sexual and the parents tormented the poor kid like he/she wasn't theirs? It is awful. That is what the school is for where facts are taught and not some archaic concepts that lead to discrimination and hatred.
