  2. This sounds like insanity. a what are the odds of the new leader in Niger living beyond his first year. With islamic insurgents hammering away and future coup attempts he’s facing, it’s going to be dicey. Also, I’m not sure I understand how Niger claims it wants independence, but in truth, they are replacing the west with BRICS, ie Russia and China. Does Niger really beluevee we Putin’s going to BRICS is going to infuse huge sums money into Niger to pay for its badly needed infrastructure, just for kicks?
