  17.  @KidxSnap  So you would let someone fleeing police go? What if it was someone who had just killed an entire family? What if they were armed and now desperate? You’d let them run loose in the community? Do you think they will ever “go quietly”? No one WANTS to be arrested? Sooner or later you’ll have to take them down and not get yourself or any innocent people killed in the process. I did search YouTube as you suggested and there was one common factor in most; The suspect tried to evade or flee the police. (The guy with the gun in the car was a stupid move). What about their contributions to the situations? But for their attempt to flee, their fate would not have befallen them. Why should the cops and society have to de-escalate a situation the suspect him/herself chose to escalate? You say you’d de-escalate. Even if de-escalating puts your own life and the lives of citizens in jeopardy? Cops have every right to go home at the end f the day, just like you. Why are the rights of a law breaker more important than everyone else’s rights? This incident is going to decimate police departments. Cops will be quitting en masse. Don’t forget, the Scorpion Unit was an elite unit made up of the best cops. They deal with the real sociopaths in our society. They are used to dealing with the worst of the worst so the rest of us don’t have to. You certainly would NOT want to meet one in a dark alley. I can assure you, they don’t give a damn about your rights or your life. We may all have to deal them soon enough after this. You totally dismiss the conversation among the officers as an attempt to justify their behavior. What if you’re wrong? What if he was going for their guns? and If Tyre wasn’t “high as a kite”, why the hell did he act the way he did?
