We were on our way to making that a pervasive condition until about 10 years go, when self serving race baiters started selling the resurrection of “racism” in this country. Funny how this coincided with the creation of their careers.

The sentencing racial disparity argument is disingenuous. The stats available take into account the crime and the sentence, but do not, can not, take into consideration each defendant’s individual criminal history. There are statutes that require a judge to, for example, add 1-3 years to a sentence for every prior conviction of the same crime. The nature or level of violence in a prior can also influence a sentence.
