  1. I see. YOU chose to break the rules, YOU got caught, but YOU thought it was “unfair” YOU had consequences for YOUR choices. If you were a kid, like way too many kids today, whose parents were too selfish or clueless to discipline you and teach you how to respect others, which the rules are there to facilitate, I am truly sorry. THAT was not your fault and it cost you in life. Made your struggle that much harder. Kudos to you if you kept yourself together and overcame the handicap it left you with! Today, there is NO discipline and we have generations of uneducated, snot-nosed, entitled brats to show for it. That is NOT going to end well for any of us.

  4. So the Bruce’s now own the land and they will rent it back to the city who will pay $412,000 to the Bruces per year. But of course they, as owners, will pay property taxes around $200,000 per year, plus they’ll have to pay taxes on the $412,000 income, state and and fed, which might be $100,000(?). That leaves the Bruce’s with, in hand, about $100,000 per year. The initial lease term is 2 years, almost certainly with options to renew. The land is a park and will stay a park. IF, and it’s a big “if”, the county wants to buy it back, the price is fixed at $20 mil. Of course there wouldn’t be too many competing bids to buy a park (not a money maker) and the county doesn’t have to buy it back. So all this was to give 2(?) people each $50k per year. Not exactly a life changing event from that perspective, is it. But Newsome is milking the publicity with LOTS of fan fare.

I mean we carry the world libraries in our phones today, yet nobody bothers so much as to Google the basics. Then again….that’s why we’re in the mess we’re in today, isn’t it?

But apparently he didn’t like the shot, because he then RUSHES UP FROM BEHIND ON A COP WITH HIS BACK TURNED, hoping to get a better close up!!!! What is this kid? An idiot?

Reparations for slavery ain’t gonna happen for countless reasons. Don’t waste your time sitting around waiting for a check that will never come. That’s a great way to waste a life. Focus your energies on how you want the future to live look and take steps to make that happen. This dialogue is pointless.
