  1. This is INSANE! We are now supposed to rely on the decision of a Supreme Court, members of which have committed major ethical if not criminal violations of the law, one of whom has close ties to the defendant, to deny a preposterous immunity defense? This is ridiculous! They don’t even have to render an actual opinion. They can just refuse to decide until after the election. If Trump were to win, the case would be dismissed along with any hope of preserving our democratic republic. Why are we playing this dangerous game of going along with those who are perverting the spirit and intent of our laws for their own interests?

  6. I hope EVERY school does the same. Are you insane? Do you know what rules are for in the first place? You are actually supporting the idea that kids get to decide what rules they will and will not follow? That’s the lesson you want to give the nauseatingly entitled kids of today? No wonder kids are graduating from high school barely able to read in this country. They’re too busy trying to “express” themselves to bother with rules. How do you think that’s going fly when they’re adults? Woops, forgot. We already know. That’s just what we need. Generations of entitled, narcissistic, illiterates who think they get to decide which laws they will and will not follow. I hope someone does hair in prison.

You aren’t responsible for the safety and well-being of ALL the kids, teachers, and administrators in the school, not to mention the school itself are you? It’s not your call to decide which rules to follow. The rules apply to EVERYONE, not just you. Put yourself in the principal’s position. Even though every other student complies, the principal should make a special exception just for you? WHY? Because you THINK they should? Nobody cares. Rules are made for everybody’s sake. They’re not about YOU, they are about everyone. If a school required that all its students had to shave their head, guess what, If I didn’t want to shave my head, I wouldn’t go to that school.

  14.  @jrgood6479  It wasn’t even poor policing. Floyd killed himself. Period. With a heart condition, as a smoker, having just had COVID, on meth and fentanyl recently consumed, Floyd chose to yell, scream, and physically resist the cops for 15-20 minutes. He had a heart attack and died. Those officers did nothing wrong. In fact they couldn’t have been nicer when they first approached him passed out in his own car across from the store where he passed the fake $20 for the cigarettes. As he fought them all the way to the squad car, they kept trying to calm him down. They tried to get him in the back seat but he crawled out the other side onto the street and refused to move. They tried again to get him into the back seat, but he wouldn’t budge. Floyd was 6’4 260 lbs. Chauvin is 5’8” 150 lbs.

  15. @ He was not exerting pressure. Floyd had already been resisting for a good 15 minutes. It was Chauvin’s responsibility to have control if he had started acting up again. Floyd brought it on himself.

  19. I would say unequivocally, the kid does have a behavioral problem. That or the boy doesn’t understand english. They told him the rules and he didn’t follow them. THAT is a behavioral problem that better be dealt with now, for the kids sake.
