  2.  @Carlosmatos-nx4uc  But the police had no way of knowing what the guy would do. He was driving erratically and had just driven the wrong way down a one way street trying to evade them. Again, the onus is on the suspect to comply, not on cops to put their lives in jeopardy or the public’s. Get real!

  5. It hAs to be understood that people don’t become police offers to die sooner rather than later. They have every right and should be expected to protect themselves and to not take reckless risks. THAT is why it is important to comply with officers instructions when instructed. The impetus is on the suspect to comply, not the cops to risk their lives.
