  2. ​ @Vladviking  That is unlikely. If WW3 broke out it would have only two possible outcomes. NATO spends around 24x more on military and has 39x larger economy than Russia. Imagine Russia fighting 220 Ukraines at the same time. Conventional war (NATO vs Russia) would be absolutely crushing defeat for Russia (no matter the number of reservists, even 10 million wouldn't play a role). The only other alternative is nuclear war which would trigger nuclear winter and everybody dies everywhere in the world. So in both scenarios Russia loses regardless of their military numbers. They absolutely don't want to start WW3 and will not start it under any circumstances, but they will bluff and intimidate all day long.

  3. ​ Jay One  Well, the map shown by Ministry of Defense of RUSSIAN FEDERATION shows almost the same progress as all other maps (minor inconsitencies). So how are they winning if they gained 7% of territory in 30 days of agressive combat and cities being destroyed? I thought Russia is military superpower. Ukraine is poorest country in Europe that has been spending on military what is 10% of what Russia spends on military. So how come not even one major city is being taken by Russia yet? This is definitely not how "winning" looks like. This is how no progress looks like. That 100k Russian soldiers died for nothing. ... Of course Prigozhin will say he wants to destroy Ukraine, because he needs support of Russian nationalists, but he is not stupid, he knows that war cannot possibly be won. He will try to weasel himself out of the war in some way that will not trigger Russian nationalists. He is much smarter than Putin and not an ideologue, but that makes him even more dangerous. Russian mafia boss. ... I was hoping for total destruction of Russia 5 years from now... but if Prigozhin takes power and stops the war that will not happen, unfortunately. We will have to deal with Russia again 20 years from now.

  8. It's been a stalemate for the past 2 years (those small movements are irrelevant). It's a war of attrition - who's economy will collapse first. Everything else is just noise.

Again, extremely dishonorable. Any word from Russia or Putin has no value now.

  12.  @Me-yq1fl  Also Ukrainian army is 200 thousand soldiers and with territorial defense and national guard they are almost 500 thousand. Russia started with 190 thousand, some died, some were replenished (Syrians, Russian troops from South Ossetia, Abkhazia, Armenia, and forced conscripts from Donetsk and Luhansk). All in all it's something between 150 - 190 thousand now (I don't count wounded who are out of action). Russia has more vehicles than Ukraine but Ukraine has superiority in numbers (and it also seems in training of their core army). Russia has of course more soldiers at home, but those cannot leave Russia under any circumstances as they need to guard the 17 000 000 km² of the motherland. They will be very lucky if they are able to take just Donbas and the pushback from Ukrainian resistance would never end.

  13.  @tomstory8502  Azov Battalion didn't exist before Russia invaded Donbas and Crimea. Azov was just 900 people and now after brutal fights in Mariupol it's much less and they are completely surrounded in the Azovstal factory. Azov was less than 900 people in a country of 44 million. Yet Russia blames everything including Bucha on Azov. They must have teleporters.

  14.  @azmagaref  Yes they truly did, Wagner is the only Russian force that had any territorial gains in the past 12 months. Regular Russian military - nothing, only retreats (Kyiv, Kharkiv, Kherson, Kherson city) and zero gains. Wagner did get Bakhmut, the 56th largest city in Ukraine, after 10 months of fighting, that is true. Prigozhin himself said that they lost 20 000 men there (his words, not mine).

Same as losing having to retreat and calling it "strategic repositioning" and "winning" / "we achieved our goals". I shouldn't be laughing at this, but I am.

  17. ​ @willharrison3740  Dude, he is not even Prime Minister yet. Fico won 23% of the votes. 77% didn't vote for him. He now has to form a coallition and most parties don't want to go with him into coallition. There is only one party (HLAS ) which is acceptable for both sides and leader of the party will decide whether to go with Fico into coallition or with Progressives and other small parties. That party (HLAS) is decently pro-wester (EU,NATO) and definitely not anti-Ukraine. So even if Fico becomes Prime Minister, he will have to accept conditions from HLAS to not push against EU and NATO. Besides, Fico is a populist corrupt politician (as explained in the video) and will say anything to get votes. He doesn't believe anything he says. He will backtrack on it in a month.

Which is irrelevant, because of the 11000 nuclear weapons only 7% is needed to end all of Humanity (nothing will survive the nuclear winter, not even plants or animals, not even in a nuclear bunker - because entire ecosystem will be destroyed, Human civilization will end). So numbers of nukes do not matter at all (that's why all other countries have 200-300 nukes max). Russia or US can end all of Humanity easily - even just detonating them all over their own country would do it.

  19.  @benanders4412  If Russia attacks Romania or Poland, they know there is no alternative future in which they are not all dead. In conventional war NATO is 37x stronger than Russia (comparing budgets, no opinions, just hard numbers). Not even factoring in massive levels of corruption, outdated equipment, questionable training (conscripts in 21st century, really?) and abyssmal strategy. NATO is such absolutely overwhelming force that Russia cannot possibly win any engagement no matter what they do (and they know it).

  20. Yes, that would be much more difficult (and is probably inevitable for Ukrainian military), but that's where complete trade embargo would help imensely to starve out Russian economy over the following years (while both sides are entrenched and just defending).

  22.  @johnnytiger7580  It's a global market, if all that Ukrainian grain is not bought by rich countries they will have to buy a different one and they can overpay any poor country without a blink. Rich countries will buy what is left and poor countries will have nothing. So in the end in doesn't matter where Ukrainian grain actually goes, because poor countries will suffer.

Russia signed Budapest memorandum of 1994 that in exchange for 1000 nuclear weapons stationed in Ukraine (that they could reverse-engineer and use) and all strategic bombers, US, UK and RUSSIA bound by signature to defend territorial integrity of Ukraine. Then in 2014 (and 2022) Russia just breaks their word confirmed by signature. (and no, revolution doesn't make treaties invalid, that's not how international law works) Making ANY peace treaty with Russia is downright idiotic. They will just rebuild their military and attack again.

Then it will break Russia apart, exactly same thing as happened in Afghanistan 1980 - 1989, when they terrorized Afghanis to conquer them and ended up killing their own country (Soviet Union).

Example 1: Russian best strategic bomber Tu-160 (1987), only 16 were ever built, and now new version - only 1 was ever built. Example 2: T-14 Armata, best Russian tank (and the only one of modern generation). Only 19 pieces were ever built (for Red Square parade). Russia is holding them back because there are only so few of them that it wouldn't matter anyway and they need it for the military parade in May. Russia cannot possibly be a military superpower with pathetic economy that is less than 2% of world's economy (1.7% before sanctions). That is simply impossible. And add insane levels of corruption on top of that. Those palaces and super-yachts won't build themselves. Russian military is a big inflatable tiger.

As Cheeckios siad, other countries will step up. US is wasting a lot of its food production on biofuel and stock feed and industrial chemicals, maybe they divert some of it to sell to ME & A.

  30. ​ @basharatullah1425  Yes, that is all true (Azov being left in Mariupol to defend). But they will make it an absolute hell for Russian forces trying to take the city. Eventually Russian military will probaby take over the city, but at absolutely horrible cost to human lives (both sides of course). It is incredibly difficult to take over cities - defense is always easier than attack. This will be a mini-Stalingrad for Russia.

He traveled to Estonia and swam across the very cold river to seek asylum in Russia. He was promptly arrested in Russia for illegal border crossing and almost sentenced to 10 years in prison... then they just kicked him out of the country after 2 months in pre-trial detention. He is now very very anti-Russian. ... We need all our Russia supporters to follow his example and trying emigrating to Russia. They are usually very anti-government and anti-system people who always rebel against everything. Good luck with that attitude in Russia or China.

  32.  @muithai619  1) 60k troops can take city of 4 millions if nobody resists. And that is OBVIOUSLY what they expected. That's why they sent untrained conscrips with old vehicles, no strategy and 3-days of food. They expected no resistance from Ukrainians.

  33.  @brianticas7671  Plus Ukraine has 200 000 soldiers and 300 000 territorial defense (so that's 500k). Russia is right now invading with less than 120 000. Defending army always has 3:1 advantage (this will apply against Ukraine too when Ukrainians will want to liberate places taken by Russia). Russia will soon have to declare it a war and mobilize their civilians.

  35. ​ @cityboy9301  Sure, but we all know Britain was an imperial power (at one point largest in history). We all know it was horrible. But Britain got rid of its colonies. France, Netherlands, Spain, Portugal, Belgium - got rid of their colonies. Not Russia (entire Siberia and Far East are Russian colonies - they suppressed native Asian population, move Russians in, extract diamonds, metals, coal, gas, oil - and all the riches go to Moscow, while Siberia and Far East live in 1800s outside of big cities. Colonies. In 21st century. And Ukraine is just another ex-colony that Russia wants back. Simple as that.

  36.  @neilcreamer8207  Ukraine has endless flow of weapons from the west (and now even heavy weapons like tanks and jets). Russia cannot produce many of its weapons due to sanctions on foreign components. Sanctions are being added every week and will continue to be added until Russian economy is destroyed (regadless of how Ukraine ends). West is 66% of world economy, Russia is less than 2%.

There is still hope for Belarus - because majority of people there hate Lukashenka. There is no hope for Russia, massive majority supports Putin, many of them fanatically. That country is lost.

  40. The point is Russia has to share it with their own people. In a supposed democracy, people decide whether to go to war, not any politician. Will of the crowd / people overrides everything in a democratic country, even a constitution. But we both know Russia is not that. People (Russians) can be forcibly dragged into an offensive war they don't want anything to do with.

YouTube generals usually imagine everything extremely simplified, they see a number of troops somewhere, they don't even know whether it's true or not, what is their training, what is available as equipment (and not stolen yet), vehicles (not broken down because of long-term storage), and then defender always has 3:1 advantage minimum (rule of war), and invader cannot send entire military because that would leave homeland totally unprotected (Russia is 17 000 000 km² that needs to be protected). I've seen many YouTube generals sending all the available troops without giving a second thought to defense. And lastly Ukraine can mobilize too, they are 1/3 the population of Russia and are defending their women and chilren, there wouldn't be a politicial backlash from mobilization in such a situation.

  46.  @mwambakakudji6288  S-400, hypersonic missiles and ICBMs are all old technologies - everybody has that already. Just Russia makes it sound like miracle weapon from the future. Like their T-14 Armata - the miracle tank, that is same as all other modern tanks and Russia ever produced only 19 of them. Same with Kinzhal - so very few produced.
