Palestine has been in that region longer than Israel, who was formed in 1948 by the United Kingdom. further, Israel in the bible refer to Jacob not a location it has been documented that Israel PM is/was funding Hamas...wait...to play victim on the international political scene.

  3.  @Didymus20X6  Idk, a good book called the Bible, it's in the first very book of Genesis and spoken throughout the bible as well. Israel is one of Jacob's name or as you say the people descended from him, but it doesn't apply to any particular settlement. Further, the country of israel was to be placed in various areas post WW2, but received backlash so the UK placed it where Palestine resided for 1000s of years.
