@victordanielhaussmannlopez3610 Yes, that is the message. They even forced that message by making up a stupid story.

Yeah, bullshit. You fabricate unrealistic and emotional stories to smear people, who merely state scientific findings. How you can post this emotional tirade against IQ and then pretend it's educational is beyond me. Judging from the comments, basically everyone thinks it's a true story. Shame on you.

No, the flood comes regardless of what you believe about it.

There is no brother. The entire story is fake.
4
The dad never existed. It's a story fabricated to smear the mere statement of scientific findings on intelligence.

@sprouts You didn't even read the comment, huh? You are a bunch of swindlers, who make up bullshit stories to smear your opposition. But your responses seem to imply that you don't even care about the controversy or education at all, you just care about maximizing views.

There is absolutely no reason to believe this. You might well be far below average at every important task. How can a test be narrow minded? You accept that you are as tall as you are, don't you? There is no downside to having a good size in practice and neither is there one to having high intelligence. Of course you can dream up an imaginary world, in which you in particular would be most fit, but the theoretical possibility of such a world is irrelevant.

Bullshit. The difference is immediately apparent in any field that requires quick thinking. I've seen lots of extremely motivated people fail in the first semester, while others got their bachelor's degree in mathematics without ever attaining much self discipline. Even if you somehow manage to pass the tests by learning non-stop, it will still be obvious to everyone around you that you are less intelligent than your peers.

@heroiuraresjustinian4681 You mean conscientious.

@Megumin TheArchDemon What complete nonsense.

What utter nonsense. Must you really believe that you could be the best basketball player in order to have fun playing basketball? At some point in your life, you must grow up and realize that there is some things you will never do or be, no matter what. You need to be able to be happy without deluding yourself.
1
This is of course complete bullshit and will lead to nothing but frustration. When you are under 1.60 meters you will never play in the NBA and when you are below average in intelligence you will never be a mathematician. Giving people false hopes is not nice.

@khanht5 > understanding of human emotion, social dynamics That's knowledge, not intelligence. EQ doesn't exist.
1
It's not an educational video at all. It's a smearing campaign against psychometrics.
1
@sprouts Do you understand what he wrote?
1
Puking Dino You are of course completely wrong. Through IQ tests we discovered *g*, which is the precise concept of intelligence in humans. It could have well been that such tasks as calculation, short term memory, pattern recognition, logical reasoning, etc are all completely orthogonal to each other. In reality they are highly correlated. Unfortunately this profound discovery is awfully underappreciated, because people feel bad about measuring the human mind in general.
