  1. My gun whispers to me. It demands to be fired at commies. It was made 90 years ago by a Russian weaponsmith, who was taken to the gulags, because his business ran too well. In secret he made a series of guns and imbued them with his will. The gun will spontaneously cock itself and even fire. Once it's drawn, it cannot be re-holstered until someone dies.

  2.  @xtanagaming1017  Not really. Many guns are for stopping / incapacitating targets - that they die is a side effect. If you could build an assault rifle that never kills, you'd be at an enormous tactical and strategical advantage. Only guns for hunting and assassinations are intended to kill.

  3.  @jacobpinkley232  As far as I know the original assault rifle was called AR-15, the military called it M-16 in their arsenal and later they made a semiautomatic version for the civilian market, also called AR-15.

  5. That's not even true. Automatic rifles are not built to kill. That's what assassination pistols are for. If you could build a military rifle that incapacitates without killing, every single military in the world would be using it. It would be a gigantic advantage.

  6. Pistol grips, larger magazines etc are undoubtedly of advabtage. That's why militaries use them. Still the legality of a weapon should be inversely related to it's coolness. Aircraft carriers are enormously cool and civilians can't own them. Air rifles are pretty uncool and everyone should be able to own them. Nun chucks are an exception in that they are cool, but endanger the user more than his opponent.
