  2. Imagine if economists burned down neighborhoods when the The Wealth of Nation is criticized. Islam is an absurdly well protected ideology. People don't want to say anything bad about religion. People don't want to say anything bad about sth associated with "minorities". And people are afraid of violence from it's supporters. Paradoxically opposing Islam is both considered impolite and met with credible threats of violence.
