Yeah it is. And Macron is free to reply. Notice how that works? No one was beheaded that day.

Yeah Macron later decapitated that boy... oh wait, he didn't. He responded with words. You haven't even begun to understand freedom of speech.

@lil_jong-un6668 Again: You don't understand what freedom of expression means. In particular it doesn't mean that only the first person, who speaks on a topic, gets to speak and everyone has to be a fan of it. That would indeed be anti-thetical to freedom of expression.

Yeah, Macron decapitated this boy, but he doesn't think it's ok to decapitate people, who draw Mohammed. Oh wait, he didn't actually decapitate him?

You obviously don't understand what freedom of speech means.

@lil_jong-un6668 Yeah that's the idea. When someone says something, you don't like, you say something back. Not that paintings of Mohammed are anywhere close a border case. They are prohibited by a religion and therefore clearly political. To argue that it is a personal attack not to comply to the magic of Muslims is just insanity.

@moonmoon4995 I typed a long response, but it was deleted. You are changing the topic, but anyways: All ideologies condemn the beheading of innocents, the question is what's considered innocent. The French are careful not to address all Muslims, and the French president defends Islam. Western leaders in general do not oppose Islam, even though they should. The real problem is not singular terrorists, but hundreds of millions, who revere a person much worse than the terrorists: prophet Mohammed.

PESTIL3NCE You believe that Macron would have the boy arrested if he didn't comply with his demands? I don't think so. I think you are clasping at straws hoping people don't notice the leaps in your logic.
1
PESTIL3NCE It was and you've partially filled it in. Your argument is that if there is a sufficient power imbalance using phrases such as "you can't" can itself constitute violence / a threat of violence and thereby restrict speech. Clearly there is edge cases to that, but I think in the video it's quite clear that Macron wasn't threatening.

He was. And Macron was free to reply. Notice how no one was decapitated?

Mohammed was a warlord, bandit, slaver and child rapist.
1
Khadija Aamir Well you shouldn't. If that's the case, that should change.

It is. And Macron is free to respond.

The one thing Mohammed and Macron have in common: both milf hunters. Mohammed also raped children though.
