  1. 1) Alcohol is legal. 2) Alcohol is way more comfortable for most people. 3) Alcohol is a million times less potent: you have to consume it on the order of hundreds of grams, rather than on the order of hundreds of micrograms. >I can imagine that alcohol and tabacco companies are fearful of this drug because... Stop it. Illegal drugs are illegal, because a majority of the people think they should be. Because of hysteria in the media and politicians addicted to making more and more laws. Stop blaming everything on a small group of industrialists. It's your neighbours and coworkers that are the problem.

  2. 100% Bullshit. The "war on drugs" is a consequence of most people thinking that most drugs are bad and should be illegal. It's not some Illuminati Jewish world conspiracy. It's the majority of people, governments, media, police, etc all pushing each other in a hysteria and having no respect for personal freedom.

Alcohol isn't particularly deadly. It's toxic to the liver when consumed regularly in high quantities. Tobacco is only deadly because people inhale it into their lungs frequently. Most other psychoactive substances are LESS toxic than those and yes, making them illegal would allow people to be more healthy in their drug consumption since they'd have more alternatives.
