  1.  @tinfoilhomer909  What information do you get by "measuring dopamine levels"? Plenty of people take amphetamines acutely to study or recreationally. There's no reason to think they're toxic at the doses prescribed to people with adhd.

  2. Being on speed is also beneficial for people without ADHD. It's a great drug with many applications.

  3.  @segfault-  There's zero evidence for methamphetamine being neurotoxic at ordinary doses. Not to speak of somehow being more neurotoxic than speed.

  7.  @segfault-  A chimpanzee sees a human and calls them a spear-addict. To use tools is a sign of intelligence and wisdom, not dysfunction. You've been left permanently infantilized by propaganda against psychoactive substances. Psychoactive drugs exist, because they are beneficial and people take them, because they are rational.

  9. You are thinking about things more and your behavior improves as a consequence. "Dopamine" doesn't help us understand what's going on there at all.
