@ni9274 He didn't show that AT ALL. What he showed is that illegal migration still happens, which is utterly trivial. The question is whether it's reduced.

Everyone should be able to go anywhere. But it's not automatically evil to build a wall. Israel has every reason in the world to fortify against Gaza.

100% bullshit. There is NO selfishness whatsoever not to have the dumbass idea that it's somehow your duty to work for the country you're born in. And no one does that in ANY country they're fleeing to. No one in Germany or France or the UK works for the benefit of their state and that's WHY those places are awesome to begin with. People are free to pursue their own happiness and business opportunities. In Eritrea, you're forced to work for your country and it sucks.
2
Having to build a wall to keep people out, bcs you're place is awesome, is the opposite of having to build a wall to keep people in, bcs your place is awful.
2
It did. Anyways a lot of the migration is from tyrannical governments or wars, so giving money to them would just make shit worse. The EU would have to invade, defeat the tyrant and occupy the country. I have a feeling that the uploader wouldn't like that either. Walls are an alternative to empires. If you don't go in somewhere to fix stuff, you have to keep the problem out.
2
The West could go back to occupying those countries. Is that what you want? Sending money to the Eritrean government will 100% make things worse.

It's a weird comparison because he seems to be against walls, but SMRIs help people and it totally makes sense to take them prior to and during working on other things.
1
Are you seriously that stupid? Do you shit on your floor bcs toilets can be broken?
1
Meanwhile he makes excuses for East Germany. Walls to keep your citizens from being murdered? Bad. Murder your citizens fpr trying to escape? Good.
1
Bullshit, the walls are there for security and protection of the welfare state. When your neighbor is aggressive and you are, too, that not any less reason to build a wall. People built tons of walls throughout history while having the same "values". The reason they don't need them in Europe today is because both sides generally have GOOD values and are good places, not that they're "compatible".
1
@ANTHEMMMMMMSS French people aren't obsessed with murdering Belgians, that's why there isn't a wall there.
1
Prior to modern Israel, the last independent state in region was another Jewish state. There was never a "Palestine".
1
It's absurd to say that Western Countries have to solve literally every problem in the world before they're allowed to control their borders. Building a wall to keep people out is even a good sign that you have done things right and therefore people want to come. That's very different from the wall in Berlin meant to keep people IN.
1
@Siamotutti161 All of that is complete bullshit. Capitalist countries are building walls to keep people out, communist countries build walls to keep people in. There's HUGE refugee movements out of Venezuela, despite all it's oil wealth. Who flees out of Norway? You completely ignore the actual reasons people flee in favour of a delusional ideological narrative. People flee out of Eritrea, because of its totalitarianism and command economy. I see people, who fled from there INTO capitalism, every day.
1
No, it isn't. It's bcs the USA is wealthier. Becoming even more tyrannical in order to make it less enticing to come to the West is utterly ridiculous. To the contrary, all drugs should be legal. Nor are drugs mainly sold to "addicts".
1
@ThePresentPast_ The alternative is to go back to occupying remote places directly. No amount of money can make Eritrea or Syria nice places where people want to stay, that requires boots on the ground.
1
Whining about the CIA doesn't help you understand or improve any conflict.
1
@moustachu100 You're every bit as bad as the holocaust deniers. It's a FACT that the DDR build walls to keep people IN. And it's a FACT that they shot on people trying to flee. How much more can a political ideology possibly fail than people having to be imprisoned in the country?
1
So Gaza and Israel are good neighbors, but France and Belgium are not?
1
@Rom2Serge None of your commie lies distract from the fact that you literally had to wall in your people and shot them when they were trying to escape. That's the most horrible failure of a political ideology I can imagine.
